Micropower's business is growing and we need to strengthen the R&D organization with a number of power electronics engineers in Växjö. We are looking for both experienced and recent graduates in Power Electronics and Circuit Board Design.
Common to the services is that, as the electronics engineer/hardware designer, you are partially responsible for the construction of our chargers from 5 kW and up. For support in the projects there are Project Managers, Test Managers and the rest of the development team who work with Software Development, IOT solutions, Mechanics, etc.
It is estimated that you work on a couple of development projects and/or maintenance of existing solutions per year. You are co-responsible for the entire process from development, prototype, to production.
In addition to Power Electronics Developers, we also need to strengthen the R&D unit with both senior and junior people with experience in circuit board design as well as more general experience in electronics development.
The R&D unit in Växjö consists of approx. 20 people and is responsible for running product development projects that develop new products for a global market, product maintenance within the existing range and great focus is also placed on technology development with the aim of being involved and leading the development towards electrification on a large scale within the industry . All in all, this provides exciting challenges and tasks in an expansive environment.
We believe that the right person has a solid education in Power Electronics and, depending on the role, also extensive experience as a developer/designer of electronics, primarily power electronics and development of power converters, but other areas may also be interesting. Experience from having carried out projects all the way from idea and construction and all the way through certifications in electrical safety and EMC is highly meritorious.
Good knowledge of Swedish and English is a requirement. As a person, you take responsibility for running things on your own. Responsible, analytical, independent, but humble enough to see yourself as part of the team.
You will have a central role in the construction of our charger products/solutions, both new and modifications.
You will work alongside some of the most competent developers in power and power supply. Our products/solutions are included in applications that make extremely high demands on reliability and performance. You are given the opportunity to spend time deepening and developing your skills, as the projects are to a certain extent also innovation-driven.
